Tall jug handcrafted by Bert Jones, a potter based just outside Newport, Wales. He works from a converted shipping container studio in the countryside. Hand-thrown from stoneware clay to a straight, tapered shape and finished with a speckled celadon glaze. The finger marks are visible at the base, indicating where it has been held while dipping in the glaze. Each varies slightly in shape and colour.
